Route

Walk through the almost 5 km of remaining City Walls with specialized and local guides. Old gates, bastions, moats…
We will start at the Citadel, fortress built in the 16th century that nowadays is the biggest green area of Pamplona. From there, we will head towards the Taconera gardens, the oldest ones of the city.
We will cross the “New Gate” and walk over the northern round-path to arrive to the Bullpens of Santo Domingo
We will get to the Palace of the Kings, nowadays Archive of Navarre, where we keep a model of the whole fortified city. With it, we will discover the origin, History and consequences of being a fortified city until 1915.
We will see the Gate of France before arriving to the Redin Bastion, ending point of the tour.
